Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline e.g. Computer Science, or Engineering.Additional Requirements:
Practical or theoretical knowledge of Network protocols and technologies: Routing (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), MPLS, LDP, RSVP, multicast, SRv6, CoS/QoS, EVPN, VxLAN, VRRP, VPLS, FXC, Psuedowire at the protocol and implementation level.Demonstrated knowledge of physical and logical compute componentsLayer 3 ISP PE router design for Mobile, Broadband, and Enterprise network servicesDesigning Layer 2 access networks supporting Mobile, Broadband, and Enterprise networks.Linux-based OSes (e.g., Ubuntu, Rocky Linux, Red Hat)Minimum of one Network OS: Cisco IOS-XR, Juniper JunOS, Arista EOS or Nokia SR-OSData center networking including security implementations.Proof-of-concept and design validation in a lab with hands-on configuration and testing using vendor products.Our Sr. Specialist Member of Technical Staff earn between $122,000 – $183,000 USD, annually. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
