Job Description:

Join AT&T and reimagine the communications and technologies that connect the world. Our Network Engineers support the next generation of Network Design for Mobile, Broadband and Enterprise networks while developing new services for consumer and business customers.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline e.g. Computer Science, or Engineering.

Additional Requirements:

Practical or theoretical knowledge of Network protocols and technologies: Routing (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), MPLS, LDP, RSVP, multicast, SRv6, CoS/QoS, EVPN, VxLAN, VRRP, VPLS, FXC, Psuedowire at the protocol and implementation level.Demonstrated knowledge of physical and logical compute componentsLayer 3 ISP PE router design for Mobile, Broadband, and Enterprise network servicesDesigning Layer 2 access networks supporting Mobile, Broadband, and Enterprise networks.Linux-based OSes (e.g., Ubuntu, Rocky Linux, Red Hat)Minimum of one Network OS: Cisco IOS-XR, Juniper JunOS, Arista EOS or  Nokia SR-OSData center networking including security implementations.Proof-of-concept and design validation in a lab with hands-on configuration and testing using vendor products.

Our Sr. Specialist Member of Technical Staff earn between $122,000 – $183,000 USD, annually. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
