Responsible for collecting, recording, classifying, examining, analyzing or reporting accounting transactions.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, collections, assets control, product cost, labor or inventory analysis or consolidation.Prepare journal entries, maintain and reconcile ledger accounts, oversee record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions.Balances books periodically and prepares profit and loss, income and balance sheet statements.Oversee company receipts and disbursement reports.Prepare federal, state, and local reports and tax returns.Interprets the meaning of accounting reports and records and statements.Job Contribution:
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues.Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred, specialized skill training or certification may be required.Experience:
