JOB TITLE:  Sr. Software Engineering Manager

JOB LOCATION:   208 S. Akard St., Dallas TX 75202 (& various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may work from home)

DUTIES:   AT&T Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Software Engineering Manager in Dallas TX (& various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may work from home) responsible for CI/CD pipelines, common application frameworks and application services used by customer facing experiences across our Integrated Digital Platform. Assist product teams deliver business value faster and with higher quality by leveraging the platform automation and services. Lead scrum teams that provide seed templates for a growing number of microservices. Provide CI/CD pipelines with automated builds, quality checks and deployments. Provide services to help combat fraud and bot traffic. Provide services to help manage application configurations. Supervise a team of 20 or more, made up of employees and contractors. Lead the software product development life cycle from inception to production launch and post-production support. Lead the strategic alignment of application development roadmaps to application and enterprise strategies. Provide technical design and architectural leadership to help ensure applications are integrated and adhere to stated architectural and design principles and standards. Drive efforts to architect, design, develop and implement technology-enabled business solutions encompassing multiple specializations, platforms and technologies. Review software processes and technical solution designs to help ensure selection of appropriate technology, efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technologies. Provide functional and technical leadership to other engineering leads, architects, product managers and quality analysts. Enforce company policies in the areas of development methodology, architecture, security, change and configuration management and compliance. Research, analyze and recommend new technologies, tools and techniques to improve the flow of software changes. Utilize Java, Spring, REST services, Kafka, MQ, Rabbit, Hazelcast, Git, Jira, Jenkins and Docker.

REQUIREMENTS:  Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems and 8 years of experience in the job offered or 8 years of experience utilizing Java, Spring, REST services, Kafka, MQ, Rabbit, Hazelcast, Git, Jira, Jenkins and Docker.

Our Sr. Software Engineering Managers earn between $187,907- $254,300 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
