Job Description:
JOB TITLE: Sr Member Of Technical Staff
JOB LOCATION: 208 S Akard St, Dallas, TX 75202 [and various unanticipated
locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]
DUTIES: Sr Member Of Technical Staff needed by AT&T Services, LLC in Dallas, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to perform application monitoring, scheduling, tuning, and configuration of application and infrastructure components, project implementation work associated with new applications or changes to existing applications and service assurance management, such as status and metrics. Work as liaison and escalation point for clients and other IT organizations as a subject matter expert across the business and application towers for business processes. Manage application availability issues, CBS ownership, application productivity, end to end business flowthrough, work use issues associated with customer ordering, provisioning, service assurance, and help coordinate integrated problem resolution. Solve non-routine problems to establish analysis and standard approaches for CBS business issues and transaction flow through issues. Provide administration of the tools necessary to support the CBS; support, test, and configure performance tools. Support CBS Alarm, Transaction Flow Analysis, and Correlation. Oversight of vendor and supplier functions. Identify areas of improvement and develop action plans to improve CBS and application performance. Work on assurance applications including NSAS. Utilize VES, GRPC, SNMP, SYSLOG flows to capture data for both performance, and fault management. Use of various tools and technologies including Grafana, Kibana, Kafka, IEBUS, and storm guard to monitor and troubleshoot the NSAS platform. Support ONAP and other ECOMP components including DCAE, HP, and GOC based microservices. Work on TICK and ELK platform running in Microsoft Azure platform. Support data collection in AIC environments. Support large scaled Kubernetes, Jenkins, OpenAPI, OpenStack, Maven, git/github, docker, and docker. Deploy code utilizing CodeCloud, Cloudify, Consul, EOM / MCOM infrastructure. Utilize Python, JavaScript, PHP, Perl, Java, C/C++, Ruby, AWS, and GCP. Work on networks, network protocols, and IP networks . Work on technologies including VPNs, firewalls, proxy, IDS/IPS, and Windows/Linux environment. Require ITIL Certification.
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Applied Computer Science or Computer Science or Information Systems and 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in a related occupation working on assurance applications including NSAS; utilizing VES, GRPC, SNMP, SYSLOG flows to capture data for both performance and fault management; using various tools and technologies including Grafana, Kibana, Kafka, IEBUS, and storm guard to monitor and troubleshoot the NSAS platform; supporting ONAP and other ECOMP components including DCAE, HP, and GOC based microservices; working on TICK and ELK platform running in Microsoft Azure platform; supporting data collection in AIC environments; supporting large scaled Kubernetes, Jenkins, OpenAPI, OpenStack, Maven, git/github, docker, and docker; deploying code utilizing CodeCloud, Cloudify, Consul, EOM /MCOM infrastructure; utilizing Python, JavaScript, PHP, Perl, Java, C/C++, Ruby, AWS, and GCP; working on networks, network protocols, and IP networks; and working on technologies including VPNs, firewalls, proxy, IDS/IPS, and Windows/Linux environment.
