JOB TITLE: Senior-System Engineer

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St., Dallas, Texas 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

Senior-System Engineer needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Dallas, Texas [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to build, implement, and manage continuous integration and delivery process tools for both on premise and cloud platforms. Automate different phases of the DevOps pipeline. Collaborate with Agile scrum teams in creating automated DevOps delivery pipelines. Manage microservice architecture applications deployments into multiple environments up to production. Diagnose and trouble shoot issues and outages and provide operational support on internal environments. Work on analytically diagnosis system events and alarms with emphasis on elimination of reoccurrence. Provide follow up to issue tickets. Use monitoring tools to find problems, resolve, and escalate ensuring to exceed SLAs. Devise design and architecture for CICD, DevSecOps, auto scaling, site reliability engineering objectives through automations, infrastructure as CODE and platform using Ansible and Helm, and Terraforms for provisioning infrastructure. Devise strategies roadmap planning for on-premise and Cloud systems solutions, PCI/NON PCI, security/CSO governance, and OWASP. Work on Mulesoft or any gateway architecture solutions such as strong loop IBM micro-gateway. Utilize CDN-Akamai, Load Balancer, Firewall, Dns, Proxy, Reverse Proxy, and Vpn Tunnel. Utilize streaming solutions such as Kafka or cloud equivalent such as Event Hub. Utilize Cassandra or any NO SQL. Roll out solutions for caching framework such as Redis and Hazelcast. Work in all phases of SDLC with focus on AGILE. Utilize SAFe and DevSecOps methodologies. Devise cloud agnostic solutions for both on premise and hybrid cloud solutions from inception, design, and production rollout leveraging AZURE and AWS providers. Asses technologies, platform APIs, and internal and external dependencies. Market customer driven solution evaluations, training SMEs, in house resource evaluations, avoid vendor lock-ins, KPIs, and TCO-Cost saving aspects to lead team. Lead teams of geographically dispersed employees and contractors working on analyzing, defining, and proposing IT platform and infrastructure solutions for portfolios of DOTCOM. Assist systems architects and leads with exploration of latest technologies. Roll out platform solutions focusing on highly scalable, self-healing, Nimble, and flexible infrastructure solutions for business portfolios. Apply knowledge in democratization of platform and systems dashboard leveraging both real time and synthetic monitoring solutions with primary focus on site reliability engineering such as Dyntrace/App dynamics or New Relic for APM monitoring, EFK/ELK/Splunk for logs monitoring, and any synthetic monitoring components such as Catchpoint. Work on Vulnerabilities that arise during deployment of applications. Create security roles (RBAC), group policy, auditing and authorization. Analyze the infrastructure components and fine tune them as per the current needs. Set up the sprint demo to demonstrate the workflow developed during the program increment phase to all the stakeholders and work on the feedback. Utilize certifications in Azure.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience or 5 years progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation devising design and architecture for CI-CD, DevSecOps, auto scaling, site reliability engineering objectives through automations, infrastructure as CODE and platform using Ansible and Helm, and Terraforms for provisioning infrastructure; devising strategies, roadmap planning for onpremise and cloud systems solutions, PCI/NON PCI, Security/CSO governance, and OWASP; working on Mulesoft or any gateway architecture solutions such as Strong loop IBM microgateway; utilizing CDN-Akamai, Load Balancer, Firewall, Dns, Proxy, Reverse Proxy, and Vpn Tunnel; utilizing streaming solutions such as Kafka or cloud equivalent such as Event Hub;
