JOB TITLE: Senior Salesforce Test Engineer                      

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St., Dallas, Texas 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

Senior Salesforce Test Engineer needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Dallas, TX  [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to manage Salesforce Testing and oversee Salesforce CRM UI and backend web-services including Functional, Integration, End to End Testing. Support UAT as Senior Software Engineer in the Agile team. Enable production support and automation of features that are suitable for test automation with Selenium and Postman. Test user Stories developed by the development team in an optimal Agile development environment. Govern and direct testing best practices, test methodologies, and test delivery for Salesforce systems. Identify, understand, document, and create functionality that aligns with product and capability definitions laid out by product managers. Develop and design a testing program strategy for salesforce systems. Plan, conduct, and monitor the test, and inspect the salesforce products to ensure their quality. Apply risk based techniques to ensure that QE provides an adequate level of confidence based on defined coverage criteria. Design test cases build feature traceability. Plan maintenance of new features on existing automation scope. Create automation development build up plan for release. Create Automated Execution Plan during scheduled test cycle. Partner with QA Leads and Architects for intake planning and assignment. Plan Sprint and Release with Test Architects and Testers. Responsible for E2E Test Reporting and Metric. Manage risks and issue resolution, resources for program, and adherence to SLAs. Develop integration testing strategies to test the data flow between Salesforce and different ERP Systems. Assist the QA team with quality and availability of the salesforce test environment. Ensure features and stories are met with acceptance criteria by developing an effective test strategy. Enhance QA methodology for test and defect management and tools supporting processes. Develop and monitor corrective measures. Manage external vendor relationships and consulting services provided to the salesforce team. Provide training to individuals handling Salesforce product. Develop strategies to improve the salesforce production process. Complete resource allocation and salesforce test estimation efforts and delegate duties for routine activities. Build vendor relationships to deliver salesforce services. Support Salesforce QA team in all stakeholder meetings. Oversee test execution process and project the status of Salesforce products under development. Lead defect triage meetings, escalate, and see defects to closure within timelines. Maintain JIRA for defect management activities. Track customer-facing issues in an agile tracking tool. Escalate unresolved issues to respective teams and bring them to closure. Provide training in Salesforce testing. Utilize Salesforce development platform, Core Platform, Sales and Service, Marketing Cloud, and MuleSoft. Apply knowledge of  Salesforce testing, test estimation, test planning, and test automation. Utilize testing tools,  postman, SoapUI, and selenium. Work with software programming languages, SQL/SOQL, Java, JavaScript, XML, and Oracle. Communicate and collaborate with team members in multiple geographies and time zones.                         

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation applying strong understanding of all test fundamentals, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile Methodologies, test management tools (including Zephyr and ALM Octane), and defect tracking tools (including JIRA); utilizing test automation tools such as Selenium/Appium or Postman; programming in Java, JavaScript or XML; working with CI/CD including Jenkins; and communicating and collaborating with team members in multiple geographies and time zones.
