JOB TITLE:    Senior Member of Technical Staff    

JOB LOCATION:    3400 W. Plano Parkway Plano, TX 75075

DUTIES: Apply engineering principles and practice in broad areas of complex technical project work that requires in-depth analysis using advanced techniques, knowledge, and expertise. Integrate expert knowledge of technical principles and methods of multiple disciplines with knowledge of products and services and internal operations. Solve complex, critical problems related to significant and unique issues. Utilize extensive research and interpretative thinking. Utilize innovative methods in developing solutions. Work on abstract problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables. Apply discretion to develop innovative solutions to problems without precedent. Lead contributor on critical projects and technology initiatives. Develop enterprise-wide integrated solutions. Contribute to complex and innovative business solutions to achieve strategic objectives. Provide technical expertise to peers across the company. Implement data science and machine learning projects, and AI Advisor. Determine and predict health of residential gateways, multiverse cutting-edge analytics engine, and UI platform for analyzing and creating static timeseries datasets. Work on two projects based on Multiverse engine; analyzing customer journey through various proactive troubleshooting campaigns and focus on analyzing AT&Ts effectiveness in responding to customer issues. Develop efficient and robust correlation and evaluation algorithms, queries, and software. Develop machine learning experiments with various methods and deploy in production environments on a monthly basis in a few different systems. Develop new statistical techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of various troubleshooting and problem-resolution flows that are used during various proactive and reactive troubleshooting campaigns. Uses Big Data Technologies Hadoop Ecosystems, HDFS, HIVE, SQOOP, PIG, SPARK- SQL, KAFKA, YARN, and EPIC data sources. Develop ETL, Extract Transform Load, processes to import and export data from databases RDBMS, ORACLE, MYSQL, and DB2. Deploy and manage Azure cloud infrastructure including virtual machines, storage accounts, load balancers, and networking components to ensure scalability and cost savings. Work on infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure DevOps. Work on Azure DevOps pipelines to ensure latest image upgrades and security vulnerabilities are addressed by regular dependency upgrade and security patching. Work on Azure monitoring and diagnostics tools including Azure monitor, log analytics, and application insights for effective performance tracking and issue resolution.                           

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in a related occupation applying engineering principles and practices in broad areas of complex technical project work that requires in-depth analysis using advanced techniques, knowledge, and expertise; integrating expert knowledge of technical principles and methods of multiple disciplines with knowledge of products and services and internal operations; contributing to complex and innovative business solutions to achieve strategic objectives; develop efficient and robust correlation and evaluation algorithms, queries, and software; using Big Data Technologies, and Hadoop Ecosystems, HDFS, HIVE, SQOOP, PIG, SPARK- SQL, KAFKA, YARN, and EPIC data sources; and developing ETL, Extract Transform Load, processes to import and export data from RDBMS, ORACLE, MYSQL, and DB2.

Our Senior Member of Technical Staff earn between $171,600 - $257,400 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
