Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Senior Cloud Engineer       

JOB LOCATION:  208 S. Akard Street, Dallas TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]        

DUTIES: Senior Cloud Engineer needed by AT&T Services, LLC in Dallas, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to design and implement cloud solutions that are secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, auditable, and cost optimized. Design and develop solutions for Azure migrations and transformation tools. Perform migration of existing platforms and applications to Azure. Complete automation of cloud-based infrastructure deployments and maintenance. Build, manage, and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality, and performance is achieved. Oversee scalability, security, and availability of all infrastructure and processes. Identify and address infrastructure deficiencies, availability gaps, and performance bottlenecks. Support escalation for T2-T3 cloud infrastructure. Determine technical feasibility of solutions for business requirements. Provide guidance to peer organizations, product delivery teams, and support organizations on technical issues. Work with engineering and development roles. Work with core cloud technologies. Use Azure core cloud technologies in a high traffic production setting. Work with application migrations to cloud using native patterns. Must have cloud certification(s) such as Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, and DevOps Engineer. 

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Strategic Management or Information Systems and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation designing and implementing cloud solutions that are secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, auditable, and cost optimized; working with engineering and development roles; working with core cloud technologies; using Azure core cloud technologies in a high traffic production setting; and working with application migrations to cloud using native patterns. Must have cloud certification(s) such as Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, and DevOps Engineer.
