Job Description:
JOB TITLE: Professional-System Engineer
JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard Street, Dallas, TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]
DUTIES: Professional- System Engineer needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Dallas, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to translate business needs into technical solutions and define solutions to problems through reasoned application of information technology. Design, develop, document, and analyze overall architecture of systems, including hardware and software. Determine integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs. Coordinate the design and integration of total system including subsystems. Research and recommend technology to improve the current systems. Develop new concepts, methods, and techniques. Apply specialized knowledge of discipline/specialty area standards and processes to work. Integrate company experience, deep technical knowledge, and understand the companies technologies, systems, and procedures. Analyze and problem solve non-routine problems based on analysis of multiple factors. Identify key issues, patterns, and deviations from the norm. Work on problems that require judgment and in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Analyze and interpret research to evaluate and recommend solutions. Determine appropriate processes and technical area standards to use and provide technical direction to others. Contribution to the company’s technology - key contributor on diverse projects of moderate scope. Recommend new procedures and processes to drive desired results. Explain advanced technical information to less experienced team members. Provide specialized technical guidance to others in work areas. Build productive internal and external relationships, and collaborate with others in own team or across teams. Work with data analysis, architecture and SQL. Use technical architecture. Complete Python and pyspark scripting. Configure and maintain Azure PaaS and IaaS offerings: Functions, Service Bus, SQL (MS), Cosmos DB (future), App Service, Monitor/Alerts, Scale Sets, App Insights, and Logic Apps. Work with Azure VNets and integrate azure products. Monitor, manage, and complete cost analysis. Work with Palantir platform. Complete enterprise wide deployment planning and support for mission critical applications for major releases, both business and infrastructure related. Develop technical documentation on applications and systems. Work with technical and business-oriented teams.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Analytics, Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation working with data analysis, architecture and SQL; using technical architecture; completing Python and pyspark scripting; configuring and maintaining Azure PaaS and IaaS offerings: Functions, Service Bus, SQL (MS), Cosmos DB (future), App Service, Monitor/Alerts, Scale Sets, App Insights, and Logic Apps; working with Azure VNets and integrating azure products; monitoring, managing, and completing cost analysis; working with Palantir platform; completing enterprise wide deployment planning and support for mission critical applications for major releases, both business and infrastructure related; developing technical documentation on applications and systems; and working with technical and business-oriented teams.
