Job Description:

JOB TITLE:                      Professional-Software Engineer

JOB LOCATION:             208 S. Akard St. Dallas, Texas 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

DUTIES: Collaborate to gather and review software requirements, user stories, provide estimates, and create software design specifications. Collaborate with engineers and architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions. Execute a specific development methodology through application of various programming languages.  Create and execute automated test plans and strategies with business requirements. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients to validate test environments, test data, and test results. Design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results, and produce associated reporting. Complete dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing. Support applications and solve configuration and environment issues. Support the software deployment process. Use Java, Angular, React.js, Node.js, MySQL database, Shell scripts, SQL, and various Linux commands in an Azure Cloud environment for an internal application to provide various design functionalities and features. Setup application pipelines, configure resources, and manage performance of applications in Azure environments. Work on DevOps functionalities in regards to needed maintenance of the application in production environment. Complete troubleshooting production and non-production issues that involve opening a vendor case with Microsoft (for Azure Cloud environment), followed with an appropriate solution.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or Applied Science and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in a related occupation collaborating to gather and review software requirements, user stories, providing estimates, and creating software design specifications; executing a specific development methodology through application of various programming languages; designing and implementing code fixes, validating outcomes against expected results, and producing associated reporting; and using Java, Angular, React.js, Node.js, MySQL database, Shell scripts, SQL, and various Linux commands in an Azure Cloud environment for an internal application to provide various design functionalities and features.
