POSITION:                 Professional - Software Engineer

JOB Location:          208 S. Akard Street Dallas, TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

Duties:           AT&T Services, Inc. is looking for a Professional - Software Engineer in Dallas, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to be responsible for the overall delivery process of a software application or service, including design, development, testing, deployment, production application support and maintenance with a focus on automation. Collaborate to gather and review software requirements and user stories, provide estimates, create software design specifications and collaborate with engineers and architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions. Execute a specific development methodology through application of various programming languages. Create and execute automated test plans/strategies utilizing business requirements and collaborate with engineers, architects and clients to validate test environments, test data and test results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results and produce associated reporting. Perform application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing and/or user acceptance testing. Support applications and solve configuration and environment issues. Serve as a full stack developer with a focus on interface and backend development: coding, testing and deployment. Support the software deployment process. Perform Agile development, application design and architecture, Information Security management, programming, and Requirements analysis. Utilizing the following technology and software: Application Development tools, Software Development Life Cycle, and Software Quality Assurance and Testing Tools Java, J2EE, Spring Boot Microservices, Hibernate, oracle Database, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Tomcat and Mulesoft.

REQUIREMENTS:  Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Information Technology and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation collaborating to gather and review software requirements and user stories, provide estimates, create software design specifications and collaborate with engineers and architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions; supporting the software deployment process; performing Agile development, application design and architecture, Information Security management, programming, and Requirements analysis; and utilizing the following technology and software: Application Development tools, Software Development Life Cycle, Software Quality Assurance and Testing Tools, Java, J2EE, Spring Boot Microservices, Hibernate, oracle Database, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Tomcat and Mulesoft.
