The Member of Technical Staff is responsible for translating AT&T's business needs related to Network Service Assurance of AT&T’s network into technical solutions and defining solutions to problems through seasoned application of industry standard technology. Determines integrated solutions based on features and capabilities available on leading edge software technologies. Designs, develops, documents, and analyzes overall architecture of systems including event management and correlation. Defines Network Service Assurance solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs. Defines total Network Service Assurance solution including subsystems and interfaces. Researches and recommends industry standard Network Service Assurance technology to improve capabilities of the current systems.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Applies advanced engineering and scientific knowledge for architecture, design and development work in a Research and Development environment for high-value Network Service Assurance technology and solutions tied to the strategic direction of the company.
Displays deep technical knowledge and subject matter expertise in AT&T Technologies in Network Service Assurance area.
Leads implementation of Network Service Assurance logic and programs using the latest tools and technologies.
Leads design and development work to implement Network Service Assurance products/technologies, systems/platform architecture, software development engineering, technical security, and QA Design/Certification.
Serves as subject matter expert in Network Service Assurance area during the continuous integration/continuous deployment cycle in a production environment focused on complex design, engineering, and development.
Defines technical solutions of problems through reasoned application of Network Service Assurance technology.
Coordinates design and integration of total Network Service Assurance system including subsystems.
Researches and recommends open-source Network Service Assurance technology to improve the current systems.
Serves as a subject matter expert during the continuous integration/continuous deployment cycle in a production environment focused on complex design, engineering, and development of Network Service Assurance use cases.

Required Skills:
PhD in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or Masters in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Our Principal Member of Technical Staff earns between $160,900 - $270,400. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
