AT&T has an opening for a PMO Transition Manager - The Transition Manager will provide leadership on an effort to consolidate, modernize, and innovate our customer’s mission critical systems. The AT&T Transition Manager will ensure AT&T personnel are in-place with required knowledge and appropriate access to tools, systems, and activities necessary for the transition from the incumbent over to AT&T.

The Transition Manager will consult with executives and experts about possible implications of the proposed changes and advise on suitability of actions. They will Attend regular meetings with leadership, stakeholders, and technical teams. They must have demonstrated experience transitioning Government systems and enterprise environments of similar in size, scope, and complexity as well as experience providing presentations and briefings to high-level management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the planning of all associated activities necessary for the transition of services, licenses, tools, infrastructure, assets, and processes from the incumbent contractor to AT&TLead the development and submission of contract deliverables such the Transition Plan and other customer required deliverables Document and present transition activities and processes and capture lessons learned during transitionLead kick-off meetings between AT&T, incumbent staff and Government leadership at various sites for awareness of activities and actions to facilitate the transition Basic Qualifications:
Experience supervising or leading teams or projectsDemonstrated experience managing large-scale contract transitions and related transition of servicesDemonstrated experience applying project management principles using industry best practices such as the PMBOK Demonstrated understanding of ITIL Service Design and/or Service Transition processes
Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Candidate must have a total of 12 years of applicable experience. The experience can be a combination of degree and work history. This can be a High School degree and 12 years of work history OR an Associate’s and 10 years, a Bachelors’ and 8 years, a Masters and 6 years or a PhD and 2 years of work history. Recent, relevant experience as the program manager or deputy on a technical operations program of at least 150+ FTE personnel in a 24x365 environment. Candidate should have a current PMP certification and possess excellent interpersonal, personnel management, and communications skills. A working knowledge of, and certification in ITIL is required.

Certifications: PMP, ITIL

Required Clearance: TSSCI with Polygraph. (#polygraph)
