Candidate will serve as a Network Ops Lead to be responsible for organizing network ops projects and activities for a National Security customer working on customer premise. Candidate be tasked with managing, to the specifications (terms and conditions) contained in contracts with AT&T, the customers Network Operations Center (NOC), and also developing and growing the program to support the organization's and the customer’s strategic direction. The successful candidate will also be in charge of managing the NOC staff, keeping the NOC at appropriate staffing levels to support the mission, and developing budgets and operating plans for the NOC program, and managing to those budgets.


Network Ops Lead Responsibilities:
  • Organize Network Ops program and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
  • Create and manage long-term goals for the NOC
  • Develop a budget and operating plan for the NOC portion of the program
  • Develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance
  • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved
  • Meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting for the NOC portion of the program throughout its life cycle
  • Analyze NOC operations project risks
    Required Skills, Certification, Experience, and Education:

    Bachelor's Degree or 10 years related experience managing a NOC

    Minimum 10 years of work experience required. 5 years supporting an National Security customer customer’s contract or mission as a service member or government employee desired


    Skills:
    • Proven experience in managing a NOC
    • Proven stakeholder management skills
    • Proven experience managing a team
    • Understanding of project management
    • Ability to mitigate risks, control costs and schedule variance
    • Provides expert guidance and direction to Government and vendor senior level technicians and managers
      Required Clearance:

      The position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph.
