About The Job:
This career step requires senior level experience. Hands-on function that ultimately results in the delivery of an application or service. Responsible for translating the core architecture for business requirements into the final technical solution (consisting of platform, network, software, cloud, etc.) through functional, performance, and reliability analysis using engineering models and techniques, primarily through software development throughout the vertical stack. Defines designs, Provides technical enablement for application components and subsystems for Applications. Drives important design decisions for development team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for overseeing release management in our Salesforce platform, ensuring the team is properly utilizing Copado.
• In Depth understanding of Salesforce Environment and Branching strategies (Gitflow and Trunk-based)
• Take ownership in resolving Validation/deployment errors during promotions in Copado.
• Have expert knowledge in Copado CLI and cherry-picking strategies especially for LWC and Apex classes.
• Work closely with all the developers to resolve conflicts and promote the changes on a day-to-day basis.
• Setting-up the CI/CD pipeline and environment from scratch, using Copado and related tools
• Participate in weekly calls with release management to plan and prepare all production facing releases.
• Set up continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines primarily for Salesforce integrated projects.
• Implement solutions for ongoing/new DevOps requirements through geographically dispersed teams.
• Collaborate with Crossfunctional teams, including development, testing and business units, to plan and schedule salesforce releases.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
Background in supporting Salesforce applications, specifically Sales & Service Cloud
Experience with Marketing Cloud desired
Experience within high tech, software and/or wireless/telecom industry highly desired
Deep experience setting up CI/CD Pipeline using industry tools
Experience in Copado, GitHub, Bitbucket or similar required
Understanding of SFDX CLI tool desired
Solid technical background with understanding and/or experience in software development, web technologies and customer communications such as email, SMS and push notification
Experience working within scaled agile development team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders
Technical skills should include: Salesforce Development (Apex, Lightning), Salesforce Sales Cloud & Service Cloud, Mulesoft, Splunk or Dynatrace for monitoring and logging, SonarQube.
Our Lead System Engineering earns between $143,800.00-$215,800.00., Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
