We are looking for seasoned Lead Sourcing Managers in the Technology, Software, AI, and Cloud sectors under our Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization. You'll be responsible for managing, monitoring, and strategically sourcing technology supplier contracts in these roles. Your responsibilities will encompass everything from requests for proposals, quotes, and information to RFX through contract execution. Your role will be pivotal internally and with suppliers to offset policy impacts, minimize risk, and drive successful outcomes through negotiation.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a sourcing tech strategy that aligns with clients’ requirements for assigned categories.
  • Create and execute contracts, establish optimal contract terms and pricing, and drive savings.
  • Interpret contractual obligations' terms and conditions and act when they are not met by the supplier.
  • Negotiate modifications, quotes, revisions, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
  • Coordinate the necessary approvals based on the document being negotiated.
  • Handle the review and administration of long-term and/or blanket purchase contracts.
  • Manage commercial contract issues, negotiations, and/or administration of licensing agreements.
  • Develop financial models, including comparisons of present and future modes of operation.
  • Recommend strategic technical alternatives in support of corporate initiatives, customer demand, technology changes, economic and service reliability criteria.

    Skills:

    • Sound judgment in selecting methods and evaluation criteria or evaluating supplier responses.
    • Effective collaboration skills with all leadership levels.
    • Staying updated on market intelligence to aid in negotiation effectiveness.
    • Experience or knowledge in assigned sourcing categories.
    • Applying knowledge appropriately when evaluating new information technologies
    • Resolution skills to handle a wide range of sourcing issues.
    • Managing intense workload within short timeframes, with a process-oriented approach
    • Strong leadership, negotiation, legal drafting of custom language, and communication skills.
    • Passion and innate curiosity about tech, willingness to work hard and overcome challenges.
    • Demonstrating sound judgment, common sense, a good sense of humor, and strong business acumen

      Required Qualifications:

      • Graduate/Bachelor’s degree in business administration with Procurement, business law or CPM experience, or Graduate/Bachelor’s degree. Juris doctor degrees are a plus.
      • 5-10+ years experience in managing supplier relationships and contracts
      • Business, cost management, and quality experience
      • Skilled in creating Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and “What-If” scenario financial modeling and analysis for comparative sourcing events
      • Understanding of contractual T&Cs, including intellectual property ownership
      • Ability to generate comprehensive commercial deal sheet terms by fully understanding client technical requirements, demand/usage and budget forecasts, supplier products/services, and adequately defining flexibility terms to support multiple business units' contractual use.

Salary Range: $105,600.00 - $158,400.00
