Job Description:
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and ongoing management of data-informed executive visibility and thought leadership programs.Create and execute thoughtful and strategic integrated communications plans that support executive positioning.Develop talk points, soundbites and punchy messaging for executive events and appearances; draft a variety of materials, including but not limited to compelling press releases, media pitches, blogs, op-eds, social media content, media statements, speeches and scripts, internal communications, interview prep and key messages/Q&As.Research, evaluate, secure and manage speaking opportunities from end to end; develop briefing documents for executive prep.Develop engaging LinkedIn content for executives and assist in establishing and maintaining thought leadership platforms on LinkedIn.Mine for organic stories and participate in regular brainstorm sessions to solidify story approaches and angles; identify opportunities for trend and feature stories across traditional and alternative media outlets.Arrange media introductions and informational meetings/roundtables to build reporter relationships and strengthen our foundation for future coverage.Provide support for internal communications and employee events, including open mic sessions, videos and employee roundtables.Track and manage upcoming deliverables to ensure deadlines are hit; use data on an ongoing basis to monitor and track outcomes to determine success and assess opportunities to learn and improve; report results in clear and meaningful ways. Provide support and strategic counsel to senior leaders.Work cross-functionally with teammates, internal partners and agencies.Job Requirements:
5+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, journalism or related field.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills – ability to put the needs of the organization first and adopt an enterprise mindset to achieve shared success.Confident and composed presence when interacting with and advising top executives.Strong program management skills – highly organized with the ability to manage complex projects, demanding deadlines, multiple deliverables and competing priorities.Expertise in developing executive communications and public relations materials, including drafting and/or reviewing communications plans, press releases, blogs, opinion editorials and contributed articles, social media content, media statements, talk points and scripts, internal communications, events, messaging, and more.Proficient in media relations – capable of building media strategy, writing media pitches, securing and managing media opportunities and tracking results; ability to create and maintain strong media relationships.Experience in researching, evaluating and managing speaking opportunities from end to end.Knowledgeable in creating LinkedIn content strategies and establishing thought leadership platforms on LinkedIn.Understanding of how to target, reach and message to various audiences and stakeholders.Proven ability to make smart, strategic decisions and solve complex problems; capable of pivoting quickly to adapt strategy, tactics and messaging to best reflect fast-changing internal and external dynamics.Skilled in measuring the outcomes of engagements using data to evaluate impact and assess opportunities to learn and improve.Ability to maintain an understanding of industry trends affecting the company.Previous experience supporting or managing thought leadership and executive visibility programs is a plus.Availability outside regular hours, including travel, if needed.Education: Bachelor of Arts degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.

Salary Range: $105,600.00 - $158,400.00
