Job Description:
Overall Purpose:
The position is responsible for WAN support as well as Ops Manager for the AIS activities for the customer WLAN/LAN operations.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaborate, confer and provides consulting services and manages project activities from client identification through final invoicing. Works on billable consulting service projects.Demonstrates broad product knowledge with the customer within a specific discipline.Works independently on highly complex projects , or may work in a team as assigned by the project leader.Technical responsibilities will include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and deployment.Leads all technical aspects of delivery, customer satisfaction, and accurate timekeeping for billing purposes, on projects where the Consultant is the only technical resource or lead technical resource.Demonstrates expert knowledge of principles, theories and concepts in applicable discipline, plus high level of working knowledge in other related fields.May assist less experienced peers when needed.Work is performed under minimal direction.Duties directly related to making sales includes: Meeting with customers and engaging in sales activities at the customers site; communicating with customers via phone, teleconference, e-mail, etc. related to proposed solutions/sales, etc.; traveling to and from the customers premise for the purpose of engaging in sales activities; providing subject matter expertise regarding technical issues relating to sales; advising customers on suitability of products based on technical needs; preparing proposals, presentations, or bids, including developing pricing, developing strategic plans related to the customer and the proposed solutions/sales; researching and developing customer solutions with AT&T external partners, including design and engineering; and researching customer business and industry to identify new sales opportunities.Education:
Typically requires a Bachelors degree.Experience:
Typically requires five to eight years of direct work experience.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. CCNP/CCNAPMP/ITILCisco AIS, CCIE or 10+ years of relevant experienceSkilled in use of MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPointExcellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to give polished presentations to groups of 20 or more peopleAbility to facilitate and lead group meetingsAbility to lead teams and drives project resultsExperience in customer service.
